Epson 4800 Slow Printing

My Epson 4800 prints very well. Timely and all that sort of thing. BUT when I am printing a Picture package it can take 15 minutes of sending to the printer before the printer starts printing.
I have a Dell XP 2.6GC comouter with 2 GB of memory. All the other printing is fine .

Any ideas?
