Hi,

I just purchased photoshop cs3 and my copy and paste menu items dont work, they are greyed out. I found something on google a few weeks ago about this problem and how to fix it but i cant seem to find it. Can someone point me in the right direction please

What image mode?
How many layers?
All visible?
Has it ever worked (copy/paste)?
Have you tried blowing te prefs file away?
Start PS with the shift+alt+ctrl key held down, if you get the timing right, you wil be asked if you want to delete the file, you do, a new one will be created.

Did you get the dialogue box asking if you wanted to delete it? How are you making youir selection? Marquee tool, Pen tool? What happens if you hit Ctrl+A on the current layer?
