I can’t find curves anywhere in Elements 2. You know, the square box with the diagonal line going from upper right to lower left? You can control the tone of the photo by bending that line.

I can’t find it anywhere, yet "curves" seem to be in just about every other photo program I have. I can pull up a histogram, but I’d much rather work with curves.

Thanks.

No Curves in Elements of any flavour. That’s one of the features of the full Photoshop program that was removed to make Elements so much cheaper. —

You could also buy "The Hidden Power of Elemens 2" by Richard Lynch, which comes with a CD-ROM which will install all sorts of improvements including curves.

Try this link for a free download. I use curves from this source in PSE3 and it seems to work perfectly. Not available for PSE4 though.

Thanks for the site and the program. Earthbound light is certainly simpler, but they each have their place.
