Is there any way, via a built-in feature or some 3rd-party utility, to convert (or better, synchronize) tags or labels between PSE 4's Organizer and other applications (in particular, Picasa)? I'm not ready to fully commit to one or the other, and it pains me to think that all of the time spent tagging would be wasted if I decided to change. Thanks!

Try an experiment where you write Elements tags to the files, which I think are IPTC tags. Then see if Picasa will recognize them. The "write tag info to files" is under the Edit menu. Let me/ us know if you find anything about Picasa that is better than Elements. I can't imagine too much but I'd like to know. : -)
