CS3 won't load in Vista

Bought new Dell 1721 notebook. New copy of CS3 fails to load. Local computer store geeks can't even figure it out. Help. Thanks.

I've got a brand new Dell 1721 and can't get any part of CS3 Design Premium to run... exhausted all resources... this laptop's been back to dell once already, they've got a new one on the way to me... I have a Toshiba I got at same time running CS3 w/ no problems... same/simlar specs. Don't buy a Dell.

I have the same problem on HP system with Vista....I too have exhausted all resources trying to load it........loads fine on XP..I think it's Vista.....HELP anybody

Don't buy a Dell with Vista!
They are now shipping units (UK) with XP onboard.

Which Vista 32 or 64x? After spending a couple of hours on the phone with Adobe tech support I was told that CS3 is not certified for Vista 64x If the OS is 32x, try turning off Windows Aero.
