photos into final cut pro

I wanted to make all of my photos the same size and sam resolution for a video I am doing in final cut pro. It's going to be on a 13 foot projector and I need really good resolution. Is there a certain way I can do this? What is the resolution I would need? I am using elements 2.0 with a macintosh g5 and final cut pro

What codec are you using in Final Cut Pro, Tiffany? DV, HDV, uncompressed? The image size you want depends on the codec you're using.
