Photoshop CS seems to include this format as standard: see < http://partners.adobe.com/asn/photoshop/scripting/docs/Apple ScriptReferenceGuide.pdf > or
< http://partners.adobe.com/asn/photoshop/scripting/docs/Photo shopScriptingGuide.pdf >.

Wait, it looks like 7.0 comes with a plugin on the CD/ROM: see <http://www.adobe.com/support/salesdocs/1061e.htm>.

Barring that, there’s a shareware converter that might work: < http://www.sharewareconnection.com/list.php?categ=504000&amp ;page=2&criteria=name>.

Hi,
thanks a lot 😉

Anyweay, i dont need a converter, i just need to import RLA into photoshop with all the extras it can contain.
Working in 3D, i can export RLAs form my softwares, which contain a lot of extra data, buffers and channels.
I’dl ike to use them straightly into photoshop for fine tuning my pics. So, having just PS 7, i need to buy the plugin ? Where ?

TIA

Look on the Photoshop 7 CDROM, as already stated — it comes with an RLA file format plugin.

Hi,
i tried this plugin but it "simply" import RLS images… without any extra-info it should contain, like Object’s ID, Zbuffers, etc. I wonder if there’s something better around, even commercial…

It imports the documented parts of the RLA format (plus a few I figured out). More than that would have to come from WaveFront.
