reading mac eps files using photoshop elements 2 on windows

I have been given some eps files produced from photoshop cs on a mac.

I need to read them into windows photoshop elements 2.0

However, when I try and open them, I get a message saying the parser module cannot open the file.

If I try 'open as' and select eps, I get a message saying there is a problem with EPS TIFF preview

If I try to import, there doesn't seem to be a suitable option.

Can I do this and if so, how? If not, does photoshop elements 3 support this?

Using these settings in Photoshop CS on my Mac (see the following image), I was able to open the image back in PSE2 for Windows (under Virtual PC).
