Installation Error 105

I first tried just following the installation instructions that pop-up when I insert the CD and then I tried to install by manually going through the CD. I have windows XP. D drive is the CD drive. I tried deactivating the virus checking and still got the same error. It may be that the CD is missing the installation languages.

From where did you obtain the CD?

It came with a Minolta Dimage Scanner we bought.

Within the past week someone else had an installation problem with Photoshop Elements #3, and I pointed him to the DeLorme center. The guidance provided there turned out to be instrumental with a successful install.
