trouble copy & pasting from illustrator to photoshop....

Hi all

ok - this is really winding me up. almost every time i try to copy and paste from illustrator to photoshop as 'pixels' i get a little empty 5px or square empty placeholder. it seems to take several tries to copy between apps. its sersiously annoying me as it means things that should take a sec often take ages and much frustration.

had heard that WMP was causing this issue but i dont use it any more and its still an issue.

PLEASE, for the love of god this is soooo annoying. anyone?

Make sure both PDF and AICB options are checked

hmm they both are. as i say it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. last nightit just refused to work full stop. i had to place. which is annoying as the illustratir graphs arent aligned on the art boards etc. it cost me a good couple of hours last night messing about so i was pretty mad to be honest.
