My copy has Chinese calligraphy in black and Chinese seal also in black. I would like to change the color of the seal to red, which is the original color. How do I do this, using photoshop 7.0? Thank you.

Select the area occupied by the seal, CTRL+U tick colorize and use the sliders to get the shade you require.

You could also do it non-destructively by creating a hue and saturation adjustment layer.

Or, if you would like a specific colour, a "Solid Color" adjustment layer.

I do not know how to thank you, because the result is superb!! I studied the "Help" and wasted nearly 20 some minutes without result.
I will never forget the man called "LenHewitt" who so unselfishly helped someone totally strange to him. KYC
