I’m wondering whether it’s possible in Photoshop to use fonts stored on an external drive and, if so, how.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

probably only if you use a font manager to activate and deactivate them, otherwise you’d run into probelms if the fonts weren’t available when needed by the system.

Andrea: When you use the Windows font installer you can point it to the external drive. If you think that the drive may be removed from the system, do not de-select the ‘copy fonts to folder’. I have a separate partition for my fonts so I de-select the ‘copy fonts to folder’ so that the installer only creates shortcuts in the font directory.
