photoshop paging file

Hii...

I am new to photoshop..and have just started using it regularly. Since I have a relatively large Ram size of 1 GB, and rarely use that much, I turned off the paging file in windows. But now Photoshop regularly pops up a warning when starting up complaining about the paging file. Is there any way to turn off the warning that you might know of? I tried all the sources that I could but found no useful information.

1GB is NOT a relatively large amount of RAM as far as PS is concerned. The consensus for paging file used to be 1.5 to 2 times your amount of ram, in your case making the PF 1.5-2 GB.
It is best not to let Windows manage this as PS can need the PF before Windows realises it is needed.
