Plugins for photoshop CS3

new to all of the and to photoshop
could someone tell me how to install the plugins as there is no plugin or filter file

Create a directory for 3rd party plugins, put 3rd party plugins there and point to that directory in Ps preferences (ext plugin directory).

The advantage of this method is that when you install a following version of Ps, you don't have to move all those plugins again.

and installing 3rd party plugins in general, is a matter of running the setup.exe file on the plugin disk...
