Text Problems with PS CS2 & Vista?

I have PS CS2 and Vista?

This problem just started about 3 weeks ago,

I will try to add text to an image, and try to change the font type or size and it freezes and PS shuts it self down, and an error box comes up saying Adobe Photoshop has stoped working. and closes, it only happens when I add text and edit it.

If anyone can help, Please, help, thank you so much.

Could be a bad font or it could simply be that CS2 isn’t supported under Vista.

I’ve got CS2 and Vista, it doesn’t freeze when editing text.

yeah it was working fine and then all of a sudden it stopped working,

Had you added fonts recently before the crashes? What fonts cause the crash? All of them, or just certain ones?
