Export EPS of vector image in Photoshop CS2?

I've got a PSD in Photoshop CS2 (Win) that consists entirely of vector shape layers. I want to export this document as an EPS that printing companies will be able to use for letterhead, shirts, and other stuff like that. I can 'Save As...' EPS and check off the 'include vector' data box, but when I try to open that .EPS in other apps such as Flash or Freehand, it tells me that it's not a valid EPS. Is there any way to save a multi-layer vector doc in Photoshop as a 'true' vector document compatible with vector applications?

Have you tried saving as a PDF?

Not tht I'm aware of in Photoshop. You could save it as a "photoshop PDF" and try opening it in Illustrator, this I think will maintain the paths for you. for Vector illustration you really should be using illustrator anyway (it also heaps easier for this type of work).

Yeah, if I had Illustrator I'd totally be doing this in there, but Photoshop is the app I have and the app I am familiar with. :) I'll see about the PDF option. Bummer that they give me vector tools that can't be used to create vector files...

Thanks,
