In Photoshop CS2&Image Ready CS2 we can import gif files as frames and layers. How can I do it in Photoshop CS3????

No, It Doesn't help. because when you try to import as video layers there are no *.* choice, only MOV, AVI, MPEG, MPG

If you read the message carefully, you will see that it says to type *.* into the input box, not select if from a menu.
