Camera – Canon Mark III
Computer OS – Vista Home Premium
Computer Model – HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop
Computer Processor – AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHZ
Computer ram – 1 GIG
Program – Photoshop CS3 Extended Tryout Version 10.0
I have adobe CS2 installed and used the dng converter so the raw files could be edited. I was considering upgrading to CS3 to eliminate the dng conversion process. My problem is I can’t open the canon raw CR2 file with the CS3 Extended Tryout Program.
Going to: help – about plug in – camera raw – version 4.1 shows the plugin is there.
I cannot open using file – open method or by using the bridge. I tried purging the cache folder by going through: tools – cache – purge cache folder "raw".
I also updated the Adobe Camera Raw_4_1.zip (5.9mg) Copied and pasted the camera raw 8bi plugin to the: program files – common files – adobe – plugin – cs3 – file format folder. Still cant open cr2 files…
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
