hi,
I’m fairly new to using smart objects. When I use them, I make the smart object at a fairly large resolution in photoshop, and then place it much smaller, so that I have the flexibility I need with it to re-size.
However, it seems that although the actual smart object is a very good looking high-res image, when scaled down and placed, it is very jagged, as though the smart object resizing does not include anti-aliasing.
If I go in the smart object when I’m done, flatten it, copy and paste it into my main document, and then resize it in raster format there, it looks nice and anti-aliased like it should. I don’t really want to have to do that though.
I can’t find any anti-aliasing settings for smart objects anywhere, but there has to be something… any help would be appreciated!
thanks, Travis
