want to apply effects on multiple layers, is there a way instead of clicking each layers and applying each effect or effect template to each layers?…i have tried selecting all the layers, but the effect button was disabled..

Have you tried converting the layers to a smart object?
(Layer Smart Objects > Group into New Smart Object)

In previous versions you would choose Copy Layer Style from the Layers palette flyout or by right-clicking, link the layers you want affected and then choose Paste Styles to Linked from the flyout. I’m sure it’s similar in CS3.

thnx for your two replies.. tried both…grouping the layers into smart objects seems not to work, it seems like photoshop treats them as one, or it’s just give weird result…but it’s fine…thnx
