When using selection tools (Marquee, lasso, etc.) I cannot see the selection edges as i draw them. After completing a selection "blind," I see the selection using the Marquee tool – and can see the selection edges after double clicking when using the lasso tools. I’ve tried using the selection tools on several different files – jpegs, .NEF, and TIFF.
In View/Show, the Selection Edges option is grayed out, so I cannot activate it. Under View, "Extras" is checked. Under View/Show/Show Extras Options, everything is checked including Selection edges.
I was never too good at using the selection tools when i could see them (in CS, CS2 and CS3), but I’m even worse trying to use them "blind." Appreciate your help…
