Hello,

I’m searching in CS4 for the Filter 3D-Transformation for Mac OS X? Can anyone help me?

Regards Elisabeth

Elizabeth – that one went out years ago. I mean the ‘3D transform’ filter. This was because its interface was difficult to use, people were confused by it, never used it – and Adobe decided to shelve it.

If you still have an older version of Photoshop for OSX with this filter included, you can TRY dragging it into the Photoshop CS4 plug-ins folder. It may still work. I can’t remember which version of Photoshop dumped this filter

Do you have CS4 Extended or CS4 Standard? Also do you have a copy of Illustrator? If you have CS4 Extended there are now obviously much better ways to 3D Transform within Photoshop.

That plug-in was last installed with Ps 7. It found it’s way on to the CD as an optional plug-in but was not updated past PPC support, I’m not sure how it worked with OSX.

A quick test with it on a PPC 10.5.4 running CS4 in Rosetta shows it to be less than supreme. 😉
