File Browser Opening Folder

After doing a search I didn’t find anything addressing this exact question.

Is there a reqistry change that will force Photoshop’s File Browser to always intitally open the same folder?

To be clear, I mean the actual File Browser and not Open File (Con+O), which I suppose could be pointed at a shortcut to a specific folder.

I don’t know of a registry setting/hack that will do that, but concur as do many regulars here, this is a PITA.

I gave up personally trying to figure it out and simply placed a shortcut on my desktop.
