animations in Photoshop 7

In Adobe Photoshop Help I discovered the feature of "creating animations / animated GIFs".
According to HELP you have to do this:
Displaying the Animation palette
Choose Window > Animation.

I just can't find this feature (Animation).
Does anybody know why and what to do in order to create an animation (animated GIF) with Photoshop 7 ?

Thanks for your help.

You have to use ImageReady, which is paired with Photoshop 7. There's a Jump to ImageReady button at the bottom of the Tools palette and it also appears on the File menu.

From the top menu bar in ImageReady, Window> Animation should bring up the Animation palette.

What I usually do is have my Photoshop document set up with everything on the layers (the correct sequence of images)I want, jump to IR and then from the flyout triangle on the Animation palette choose Frames from Layers.

You can then tweak the timing, etc. in the palette.
