I’m trying to sandwich several – about 12 – lightning shots รก 30 seconds into one composite shot. The images were all shot from a tripod with the same vantage point, although exposure time may vary a bit.
I have tried loading the images and aligning them with Auto-align layers, then setting the layers either Lighten or Screen, but Lighten does not include enough of the lightning from each shot, and Screen adds to much extaneous light from the sky (adds too much light).
Does anyone have a method I can copy to get a great composite? Maybe one of the Stacking methods would be good for something like this?
I can probably work out something, but I figure someone must have done this before me.
