(Newbie!) Where is the Font toolbar located in Illustrator?

Surely there must be somekind of font toolbar in Illustrator? I hate having to right-click and change font types and sizes that way... plus, I have yet to find where the BOLD option is hidden! :(

I'm using vers. 10
