Apparently this is a common question but nothing I’ve come across seems to solve the problem…..
Illustrator 9, Photoshop CS 8
I’m designing a CD package for Discmakers using all CYMK settings as required. Color settings are the same for both programs. (Even saved and loaded to make sure.) CYMK images are dramatically different between both programs, very dark in Illustrator. In Photoshop CYMK and RGB are very similar, dramatically different in Illustrator.
I can’t seem to resolve this and my concern is getting the correct color for printing. I previously designed a cover online using RGB colors and it came out very well. That’s not an option in this case.
Thanks.
