photoshop only crashes when bridge is open (cs4 mac)

Hi folks, is anybody experiencing crashes when bridge is open. I close it now, and it almost never crashes. A bit frustrating as I like to leave bridge open.

I am using 8 core 3.0, 16gb RAM, 10.5.6, CS4

does it crash in a new user?

I just reinstalled my user. I guess nobody else is seeing this problem.

Photoshop is pretty stable and just should not crash. How much free hard drive space do you have? How much memory is allocated to Photoshop? Have you checked for corrupt or duplicate fonts?

I just reinstalled my user.

Don’t know what that means. Did you create a new user with Admin privileges and log in?

In addition to what Neil has just said, have you tried trashing Bridge’s Prefs. or purging its caches?
