I’m very new and limited to using the photoshop CS2. I’m enlarging a photo using the magnifing glass icon. When I get it the size I want, I try to "save as", but the photo keeps reappearing the original size. How do I save the enlarged photo I want.

I am not sure what you mean by the magnifying glass, but usual image resizing is done using image- image size, and entering your new dimensions there.

The "magnifying glass" zooms in the display – it does not change the image size.

To do this use the image size dialog.

And read up a bit in the manual or the Help files to get a grasp of the basics.

Edit: Typed too slowly!

It’s also possible that the photo is already large, but just opens at 25% or so.

David, view the image at 100% before you change the size.
