How do I turn off the annoying and useless initial print window in CS3?

I notice now that when I select "File/Print" a large pre-print window comes up with features I seldom use, and then I must select "Print" to open the standard and now "second" print window.

This is really annoying, especially since the first window simply repeats features that are on the standard print window!! To add further insult, this new overly-large print window box is not resizeable!!

Someone please tell me that there is a way to turn off this poorly designed and totally useless print window. I can't believe designers come up with crap like this.
