Render Clouds filter problem

No matter what I set for foreground and background colors, the Render Clouds filter uses black and white.
Anyone else run into this?
I’m in CS3, 10.4.11

Are you in 16 or 32 bit/channel? That’s what it does in those depths (because the plugin API only offers the fore/background colors in 8 bits).

That was easy. I was in 32 bit.

Gradients masks would have been useful in this case, but they are not available in this depth. Features request, maybe?
