I see the same old bug has still not been fixed in version CS3…

When selecting paintbrush or eraser (and presumably any resizable tool) the resize hitkeys "," and "." do absolutely nothing until you either use "<" ord ">" to select first and last brush respectively, or first manually click on the brush preset picker.

Once you’ve done this per tool, the "," and "." magically then respond whenever you select that tool later in the program’s run…

Can we please, PLEASE, fix this in the next patch, it’s getting ridiculous that this is still the case… =(

(and just to cover my own back because there are always people who try to ignore the problem: saying "just use < or > first then" is not solving a problem ^^ )

Mike: This is a constant through most Adobe apps, so it is not a bug.

A bug and a feature request are different things. Have you requested this feature? If you do not, it probably won’t be changed for the next four releases of Photoshop, no matter how much you wish it would be.

dear lord, you all consider what should be default behvaiour but isn’t a feature? admittedly it might not be a bug if it was this way intentionally, but then it’s just bad programming >.>

I will put forth a feature request, since this is just silly.

Mike: You do not need to put in a feature request, you can simply change the keyboard shortcuts to suit your needs. So there ya’ go!
