My liquify feature was working fine, and then all of a sudden now whenever I try to use this feature it seems to lock up. I can’t select any of the tools on the left hand side bar. The mouse pointer on the screen just has this big plus sign and when I place the mouse pointer over any image, it leaves a trail of white dots all over the image.

I’ve tried re-installing the software and also resetting the preferences, but to no avail. I don’t know what else to do… Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

try adjusting the image > mode > and try the various options of colorspaces

this might very well resolve your issue

Thanks for your response.

I’ve tried that, but it doesn’t seem to work 🙁

I totally fail to see what that’s to do with it.

Eli, try to reset the brush palette. Also check the size of the brush.
