CS4 Photoshop Layers disappeared

Hello, I somehow deleted may layers very easily. I can not see my layers anymore I am working on and searched thorough everything to bring it back. I restarted my computer and so on too. I actually didn't even save the file when it happened. I don't know what to do. Please need your advise. Never had that happening with CS3.

well the software does not just delete layers.

does the image look like it did with all the layers?

what type of file were you working on? (was it one that supports layers?

Are you now working in CS4?

What computer are you using?
