Recently switched to Photoshop CS3…using it on a Windows XP system. Can’t find the "feather" option. It was located under the "Select" menu in my previous version. Can’t find it in CS3.

Sorry David (AKA Phos) but NO. The Selection Modification procedures have been significantly enhanced in CS3.

Changed significantly just for a simple "Feather Selection?"

That’s all Tim asked about.

From the PS CS3 Live Doc support < http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Photoshop/10.0/help.html?con tent=WSfd1234e1c4b69f30ea53e41001031ab64-76e2.html> (aka online user manual):Define a feathered edge for an existing selection

1. Choose Select > Modify > Feather.
2. Enter a value for the Feather Radius, and click OK.

Was it not, as the OP stated, directly under the Select menu?

Yes they have moved the "simple" Feather command just one level down the Select menu.

However, the Selection Modification procedures have been significantly enhanced in CS3. We now have a far greater range of options. 🙂

" Yes they have moved the "simple" Feather command just one level down the Select menu."

Oh, well, then, that explains why it’d be so easy to miss!
