Text tool not working?

I’ve been experiencing this problem for a few days. At first, I thought if I wait for a day or two, or restart Photoshop, it would go away, but it didn’t. I press the text tool, and try to type but it won’t work. It can show on the text layer title, but it won’t appear on my work.

Does anyone know how to solve this? I’ve tried all I can to fix it, but it still wouldn’t be solved.

Reset the Text tool, and make sure you are not typing with text the same colour as the background!
