Hi,
That’s the message I’m getting when I try to use text tool.

"Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized."

I tried to reinstall Photoshop and still the same…

Did you install any other Adobe programs? If the reset of the prefs doesn’t work, it may be worth a try to uninstall any recent additions such as Acrobat 9…

I’ve reinstalled Photoshop and now it works…
