I HAVE TAKEN SOME PHOTOS WITH A KODAK 520 CAMERA. I USED THEIR PROGRAM TO SAVE TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN CAMERA'S. WHEN I OPEN A TIFF IN THEIR PROGRAM IT OPEN ON SCREEN FULL AND NOT AS A THUMBNAIL. HOWEVER I CANNOT MANIPULATE LEVELS ETC? WHEN I OPEN THE SAME IN PHOTOSHOP 7 IT ONLY OPENS AS A THUMBNAIL IF I GO TO FULL SIZE THEN IT PIXALATES AND IS USELESS FOR ANY COMPETITIONS. I HAVE SOME GOOD PHOTOS WHICH IS FRUSTRATING WHEN THEY CAN'T BE PRINTED TO 300DPI, AND ONLY OPEN AS A THUMBNAIL FROM A THUMBNAIL FROM THE BROWSER.
HAS ANYONE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE BEFORE OR ANY IDEAS HOW TO RECTIFY? IN CASE ANYONE IS NOT SURE KODAK DC520 WAS ONE OFF THE FIRST PRO CAMERAS FOR NEWSPAPERS, THEY HAVE A CANON EOS1 BODY WITH A KODAK MOTOR AND BASICALLY THAT IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE.

Are you sure you are saving the actual tiff files to your hard drive?
If nothing else you should be able to copy/paste the images into Photoshop, but I'm sure there's a better solution. Not familiar 3with that camera or software. Is there a manual?

Tiff's what won't open in Photoshop? And how does she feel about that?
Seriously, mate...you shouldn't post in all capitals. People see it as shouting, and it's considered rather rude.
If you use it as an attention-getting device, it may very likely have the opposite effect.

I wonder if this is the same as the old Kodak Photo CDs. I remember they had some round-the-barn procedure to opening them at a variety of different resolutions. Can't remember what the routine for opening them in Photoshop was.

the routine was to use the Kodak PhotoCD plugin. Its in the goodies part of the extras CD

So sorry for the capitals. I was using work computer and all programs are in upper case was'nt untill I had posted before I reliased it was in upper case.
In reply all photos are saved to my hard disc. Program was sent to me by Kodak but was a copy as they have changed their format so no manual. What is frustrating is that they open in Kodak program but they are in 70 dpi. I can veiw them in p/shop 7 as thumnails on the browser but when I try to open one it stays as a thumbnail or a photo which is basically that size i.e approx 1" square. I probably will be able to change to 300 but can't get the size to change to what would normally open in photoshop so it gets very frustrating. Beginning to get so fed up that I am considering to just delete all 100 images. Forgetting Kodak, camera is a Canon EOS1.
