Surely there’s a way to edit a .plist file to alter some of Photoshop CS4’s default settings.

For example:

d like to open the Filter -> Distort -> Lens Correction pane every time with my favorite settings chosen: grid size at 90, Grid Move Tool selected.

Does anyone know of a place to edit that??

Make an Action and add it to a Configurator Panel perhaps?

That might be close enough — I could use QuicKeys to assign a command-key that opens the window and quickly sets the two prefs.

I don’t think you can use a PS Action, though, unless I’m missing something — Actions require a finished process, so PS won’t record just opening a window and setting a couple things — it’ll record once you accept the changes and alter the image. Am I explaining that poorly?
