Can't make workpath from text "the type layer usesa faux bold style

Hi
I can't make text workpath no matter which font I pick Photoshop CS3 says that it a faux stlye, despite installing a new font from a CD CS3 still insists it is afaux style.
Has anybody any ideas why this happens and how I fix it. Gordon

Found it rht click sub menu in text toll deselect faux and there you are.
