I have CS3 extended on a AMD dual core with WIN/XP and 4GB with /3GB option.
I find that after processing a large complex file memory usage (shown on Task Manager) climes to 2.4GB. If I close the image file the system memory usage does not change. In fact, if I try to work on another large file, I get "not enough RAM".
If I shut down CS3 and restart it the memory used then drops.
Anyone else seeing this? If not, advice?
