photoshop cs3 license

hi;

have bought photoshop 5.5 for a long time ago and i upgraded to 6.0, then 7.0. now i want to buy cs3 but want to learn if it is possible to upgrade cs3 or bought new. is it a problem for my photoshop 7.0 is an upgrade.

No. Your Photoshop 7 will be accepted as a qualifying product.

How about if I have more than one laptop and desktop - can I only install photoshop cs3 on three machines? How much is it to obtain additonal licenses - the program already costs a mint?

You can install it on more than two computers but you can only activate it on two. You would have to deactivate it on one of the two before you could activate it on a third.

Check with Adobe for multi-seat license prices.

You can only install and activate Photoshop on TWO machines concurrently - You can install it on as many machines as you like, but you would have to transfer activation so only two were ever activated at any one time.

Minimum number for volume licensing is, I believe, 10 licences, but I suspect that will be more than you are willing to pay...
