I have just started using Photoshop and am already stuck!!!
I have an image with 4 layers. I want to copy 3 of the layers, and paste the elements on these layers onto layer 4 at the *EXACT SAME POSITION*. But I don't seem to be able to do that. I looked at the Help file, and follow what they said by selecting the 3 layers I want to copy, making a selection (I just used a rectangular selection), and then using "copy merged", than switch to layer 4 and paste. But it pasted it in NOT in the exact same position as the elements are in their original layer.
I have tried different things with no luck. Can someone help here? I was using another graphic app. before and this is just a copy and paste issue, the other app. always paste the object in exactly the same place.
What's the trick here?
Please help!
