Hi,

I’ve been running CS2 for quite some time now, but yesterday the Print Preview dialog stopped coming up. I’ve tried both ctrl+alt+p and also invoking it from the file menu. I don’t get any error messages at all, just that the cursor changes briefly to the hourglass and then back.

This is really frustrating, since there’s no indication of what is wrong. Getting desperate I’ve uninstalled Photoshop rebooted and reinstalled, but still I’m getting the same behavior. I also tried uninstalling the print driver for my epson 2400 but that didn’t help either. This is a pretty fresh installation of windows (only a month or two old).

Windows XP sp2
2GB ram, pentium d820

How can I get this problem fixed? Is there any place to look where photoshop might log the problems that it is having (I didn’t see anything useful in the event viewer).

Thanks, Derek

Have you tried thrashing preferences?

That often fixes things when oddities start to happen.

(see the FAQ for how)
