Updates won't download

I purchased Elements 2.0 about a year and a half ago. Each time I opened the program, it automatically downloaded updates. Now, all I get is a message stating that the URL is no longer available. If the URL for updates has changed, how can I fix this problem?

In your Preferences, choose Adobe Online and change the update frequency to never. Even though it looked as though your Photoshop Elements program was being updated, there have not been any updates released. So the advice that is given is to change your update frequency to never.
