Is it possible to set up the Touch Strips on Wacom tablets in order to change the opacity settings for tools?

…..In the same way brush size can be changed via Touch Strips by replacing the default scroll settings of a Touch Strip to the keystrokes "[" and "]"

Thanks

I just use the numerical keys for that.

For example, hit "5" for 50% opacity and "Shift 5′ for 50% flow.

To refine it further, a quick "44" will give you 44%.

Thanks, but is it possible to set up Wacom Touch Strips to take advantage of their scrolling ability to set opacity?

Thanks again…

No I don’t think is Jezz, I tried this once too. This is because there is no keyboard shortcut assigned to reduce or increase opacity by increments. So its the old the number keys.

There may be a way, with complex scripting to assign a shortcut/script to an action and then assign that to the touch stip. But it will probably be quite slow because scripts can take a while to execute even on a very fast machine.
