How do I draw a simple rectangle, solid white with a black outline — no shadows or special effects? I’m sure I’ve done this before but am drawing a blank and can’t seem to find the answer in the help documentation

One way is … use the rectangular marquee to select a rectangle then do Edit>Stroke> and now all you have to do is select the number of pixels and colour you want.
