I’ve just begun to use Photoshop CS4 and when I use the marquee tool, the selection boundary always snaps to the top left corner of the image boundary. I have turned off all Snap to’s, but that doesn’t help.

Has anyone else experience this bizarre PS CS4 behavior?

I have not seen that happen.

Have you tried re-setting the marquee tool — and, if that doesn’t work, the Prefs.?

Dear Ann,

I reset the marquee tool and that seems to have done the job.

I must say, I’ve using Photoshop for years and I have never run across the concept of tool reset.

Also, it took a bit of work to figure out how the perform an individual tool reset.

Thank you for your help,
