I have upgraded from PS 7 to CS2. I would like to discover how to resize all photos in a folder to a new size at the same time. For example if I have a CD full of digital photos that are 1200 pixels wide and I want them all resized to 540 pixels wide, how is this done without doing it to each photo individually? I am looking for the easiest way to do this in CS2. Thanks.

Easiest way to do this would be to create a droplet. There's a couple ways you can go about it....this is just one option.
0 ) Open your image
1 ) Create a new action
2 ) Hit "Record"
3 ) Resize your image to the size you want
4 ) Hit "Stop"
5 ) Go to File > Automate > Create Droplet
6 ) Under "Save Droplet In", find a place to put your droplet when it's done 7 ) Under "Play", find the action you just made 8 ) Under "Destination" you can choose "Save and Close" if you want to just save and close the file (warning, this can overwrite your only copy if you're not careful). If I choose this option, I'll usually create a backup copy of my originals until I'm sure I have what I need from the droplet. Best be safe than sorry!
9 ) Go find where you put your droplet
10 ) Drag all your images you want to resize into your droplet 11 ) Get some coffee

Use the Image processor from Photoshop or Bridge.
