im trying to find whats my serial#...i bought cs2 a while back,, and registerd it online...but i lost the package which had the Serial# and forgot my user id and pass to access it online.... still have cs2 working and running..i tried finding it through "regedit"..but no luck...b/c i have to restore my computer which means re-installing PSCS2 and going to need the serial #
is it in the loading window when u open cs2...where it says ur name, company and the last thing...is that the serial#????????

Yes, the number that you see on the lower right, under your name and company, is your serial number. Just to be sure, I checked mine!
Keep all of those subsequent packages in a safe place in the future! You just never know! :)

Except that the number showing on the splash screen is missing the last four digits.
If you have registered it, call Adobe Customer Service, they'll have a record of it. You'll probably need to prove your identity somehow, but I'm sure they'll be able to help.

No, the serial number that is displayed is missing the last 4 digits of your serial number. The same is true of the serial number displayed from Help>System Info.
However, as you have registered your copy, if you call Adobe Customer support, they will be able to let you have it.

The serial number is on the back of my install CD.

Also, you CAN find the entire serial by searching the registry with the incomplete serial.
